My family and I have had the good fortune to live in some special places over the years. England, the Netherlands, and Austria all offered amazing experiences but when it came down to overall lifestyle, diversity, weather, and the great outdoors, California proved hard to beat.
After a three-year stay in my wife’s native country of the Netherlands, we realized how much we missed California and made the decision to come back. However, instead of returning to the Bay Area, which had been our home for many years, we relocated to San Luis Obispo and the spectacular Central Coast. What a great decision that has turned out to be.
The Central Coast region has everything that makes California a desirable place to live: beaches, mountains, top-notch restaurants and wineries, the arts, and unbeatable weather. The only things missing are the traffic and big-city problems.
Prior to our move abroad, I built a thriving real estate business based in Marin County. Leaving this behind was one of the most difficult aspects of the move, and now that we’re back, I’m thrilled to be, once again, helping my clients achieve their real estate goals.
I have diligently spent the last year exploring and learning about the region’s cities, towns, neighborhoods, beaches, trails, and places to eat and drink. If you are a buyer from out of the area, I would love to share with you all the wonder the Central Coast has to offer through the wide-eyed perspective of a relative newcomer to whom the area’s offerings are still fresh.
If you are lucky enough to already call the Central Coast home, my easygoing yet highly professional approach to navigating the buying or selling process will make your experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible while working to achieve your real estate-related objectives.
These are the values, promises, and benefits I bring to every transaction:
The best interests of my clients are paramount. Provide clients with an emotional buffer. Separate the emotional from the financial. Strong negotiation skills. Communication that is responsive, clear, and consistent. For sellers, an extensive Bay Area agent network to tap into. You never know where your buyer might come from (maybe even before your house hits the market). Up to date on the latest NAR settlement developments and what they mean for my clients. Third-generation California Realtor. The expertise and support of the Central Coast’s best real estate brokerage. Have fun, when appropriate, and make the most of the experience!
In addition to exploring all things Central Coast, I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, photography, traveling, and helping coach my daughter’s NICA Mountain Bike team.
